The 90 Day Wedding Checklist

Our wedding day is coming quickly, and somehow I turn around and its less than 90 days to the wedding week. How is it so soon! I feel like we’ve booked all the big things now (First Charter don’t let us down now), and we are now just needing to go through all the smaller details. Since I’ve signed us up for all of these fun wedding DIYS (seating chart, backdrop, foldable bar for ice coffee directional signage and more) we have a ton to do with that alongside all the other details.

A DIY Bride is not for the faint of heart (just ask my wedding planner). Here is all the things we are doing in the next 90 days to get ready for the wedding.

June: Foundation & Big Prep Month

Focus on design choices, major orders, and finishing all the DIY components.

Decor & Signage:

  • Paint seating chart columns with primer and limewash

  • Choose final stationary designs (menus, name cards, table numbers, programs)

  • Print off names for seating chart on cricut (for the ones we have, the last 7 people can RSVP any day now!)

  • Buy acrylic sheets for seating chart from Temu

  • Make welcome signage

  • Buy mirror for welcome signage base

  • Create floral bunches with vines (for the balconies)

  • Create and paint directional sign - we’ve already cut the pieces, just need to design.

  • Secure directional signage to stand - since we can’t pierce the ground

  • Finalize table numbers or create them if DIYing

  • Confirm centerpiece details (florals, candles, holders, table runners)

Logistics:

  • We’re early, but pick up wedding rings!

  • Confirm ceremony music (processional, recessional, signing)

  • Choose songs for first dance, father/daughter, mother/son dances

Breaking things down month by month made this list feel so much more doable for me — and I hope it helps you too. June is all about creation and decisions, July is for tying the details together, and August is for confidence, calm, and celebration.

I’ve created a Google Sheet for you to copy and use as a last details checklist here.

Let’s get this wedding done right — without the last-minute stress.

Love,

M
