September Inspirations
September is one of my favourite times of the year. It tends to be a great balance of Summer weather and cooler nights. It also means that it’s the last chance to be on patios, get out on the water, harvest summer’s vegetables gardens and soak up the last bits of sunshine.
I always treat Sept 1 as more of a start to the new year, rather than January 31. I have a few things that I always do below that helps me start what I view as my new year on the right foot:
Decor Inspirations: Japandi
When I was researching design options for a friend of mine, I was introduced to this interesting style of decor and design called Japandi. It’s a mix between Japanese minimalism, and then Scandinavian influence with cozy textiles, natural fibres, neutral woods and lots of plants. I’ve put together 6 Ways to incorporate the Japandi style into your place, even if you don’t have a sprawling space.
April Inspirations
Now that April is right around the corner, we've rounded up what we are loving right now, from new clothes to DIY's. I am in love with springtime as it means I can break out the flats and the boyfriend jeans and experience a bit of Vitamin D on the skin. Here are a few things that are inspiring me this April!
What to Pack: NYC
I've just booked a trip to NYC for the beginning of March! I wrote post last week about places that I want to check out when I get to NYC, but I wanted to put together a post about what I'm packing. I like to pride myself in packing light whenever possible, and paring down where I can to make things as easy and efficient as possible while traveling.
